Wildlife Paintings

Elephant herd

"Olifante beskerm baba"
(Elephants protecting baby) Watercolour 54cm x 38cm
(item not for sale)

The second painting in my range of a personal set of four
wildlife paintings. I decided to paint four paintings that will
stay in our family home until the day I die.

And as they get done, they too will have an honoury
place against the wall in the reception room.

Zebra's

"Verskrikte Zebra's "
(Frightened Zebra's) Watercolour 54cm x 38cm
(item not for sale)

The first painting in my wildlife range, and one of my
personal favourites. I love to paint Zebra's, for the combination
of their confusing colours and energy, is a real challenge.
They are so funny!

No African landscape is complete without a zebra
grazing somewhere in the background.

Cheetah

"Cheetah"
Watercolour 54cm x 38cm
(item not for sale)

I painted this cheetah for my husband for a birthday
present this year.
it forms the third painting in my wildlife range.

Which hopefully will become an heirloom
for my children one day.

basic outlines

"Blouwildebees"
Watercolour 38cm x 54cm
(item not for sale)

This painting is in it's planning phase,
and will be the fourth and last of my personal
set of wildlife paintings.

I decided to do a Blue Wildebeest for it's beautiful colours,
and its humble elegance.
